to move closer to first place as
they tangle head on with the
Kings in Dresden, Friday and
back on Exeter ice a week later.

SIX FOR CUSHMAN

settle for one hat trick in any
terms for the first two periods
before the Hawks moved well
ahead in the final 20 minutes.
Craig Chapman and Cushman
bulged the twine for the locals
in the opening frame and Ray
Morgan replied for the visitors.
The second period was the most
productive for Mike Cushman as
he scored on no less than three
occasions. Grant Walker supplied
another marker for the Hawks and

Mixed curlers
hold bonspiel
Two rinks came up with three
consecutive wins to share top
awards in a mixed curling bons-

by Clarence Down turned aside all
opposition to gain top spot.

Helen Burton, Mary Taylor and
Roy Lamport. Finishing second in
the first event was a rink com-

the house to triumph 8-7.
The Gaiser rink, down '7-1 at
