(RCAF photo) Shamrock Fashion Show, presented by the ladies of RCAF Station Chapels, was presented in the J.A.D. McCurdy School. Mrs. Elizabeth Cousins, President Protestant Chapel Guild and Mrs. JeanRollinson, Show spring fashions at J. McCurdy school Protestant Chapel Guild and the CWL. Several men were noticed in the audience and one worried looking gentleman made this comment: "If my wife and daugh- ters all get new things for spring, I'll be lucky to get my suit clean- ed. Next year, let's have a fashion show for men". That's a provo- cative thought. After the winners of the door prizes were announced, refresh- ments were served and everyone seemed to be having a bit of good old Irish fun. (RCAF photo) Huron UCW will be host to London Conference bye deofted Huron Presbyterial UCW will be hosts to the London Conference UCW in Wingham United Church Tuesday and Wednesday march 29 and 30. It is not often this Con- ference meets in Huron and is an opportunity to attend morning, afternoon and evening sessions. The Tuesday evening session is a special one for the public when Rev. James Ft. Hord, sec- retary of evangelism and social service, will be the speaker. His topic will be "A Simmering Church in a Boiling World." Mr. Hord is a native of Ilderton, a UWO graduate, received his BD degree at Emmanuel College, Toronto, and the degree of Mast- er of Sacred Theology at Union Theological Seminary, New York. In September 1962 Mr. Hord was elected secretary of the Board of Evangelism and Social Service. Miss Muriel Bamford, on fur- lough from India and Mrs. W. M. McIntyre, chairman of the Board of Women, will be among the speakers. Presiding officer will be Mrs. J. D. Murray, Lambeth. McCurdy School was the scene of the successful fashion show presented by the Protestant Cha- pel Guild and the Catholic Wo- men's League of RCAF Station Centralia, Tuesday, March 15. Mrs. Olive Brasseur opened the show and introduced the com- mentator, Mrs. Jean Rollinson. Karen Young, aged 5, captivated the crowd with her modelling of the "little girl" styles. A pert Suzanne Poole supplied a preview of what the well dressed pre-teen will be wearing when the balmy weather arrives. Bell bottoms, shorts, separ- ates, suits and dresses for teens and petites proved to be a high- light of the show. The poised and attractive young ladles who wore these fashions included, Anne Cousins, Angela McAvany, Delyth Sheard, Linda Whitting- ton, Vicki and Barbara Zilke. Bradt, London, formerly of Exeter, celebrated their golden wedding anniversary last Tuesday night with a buffet dinner in the Masonic Temple, London. The celebrants were married at the home of the bride's par- ents, Mr. and Mrs. James Jewell, Exeter, March 15, 1916. The groom is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Bradt, Exeter. They have lived in London the past 49 years. Mr. and Mrs. Bradt have two sons, Robert and Joseph, both of London, and two grandchildren. Attending from Exeter were Mr. Maurice Quance, Mrs. W. J.
