The win gave G and G a 1-0 lead in the best of three Exeter Rec League semi-final series. In last weeks other Rec League tilt the Bank Boys over- came a 3-1 deficit to defeat Crediton by an 11-5 score to take a 1-0 lead in their series. Graham and Graham started out quickly in their upset victory 5 in the first game of the evening 0 as they built up early leads of 4-0 and 9-4 but the oldsters kept fighting back and almost came out of the game with a tie. Requirements for this badge are that the boy must be a first class scout and qualified to wear four Queen Scout proficiency badges. This is the first Queen Scout to qualify in Exeter in the last three years. Chuck has earned six proficiency badges in addition to the Queen ^ Scout badges for a total of 10 badges. He is a troop leader and also received his green cord which is only given after six proficiency badges have been received. He will be entering the Rover pack next year. At the Father and Son Banquet later this month Jack Gallant, District Commissioner will present Chuck with the certificate which goes with the Queen Scout badge.
