The general meeting of the
Grand Bend UCW was held last
Tuesday evening inSunday School
room. The Green Orchard Pines
Unit was in charge of worship and
program which was carried out
in the Christmas theme being
"The Light of the World", Mrs.
Jack Eagleson was assisted by
Mrs. Ken Freebairn and Mrs.
Murray Venner. Mrs. Wm. Bren-
ner sang "0 Holy Night".
Mrs. Clarke Kennedy presided
for the business. Mrs. Wm. Blew-
ett read letters from her daugh-
ters, Judy and Barbara in Japan
and also passed around samples
of treats which they had sent
home for Christmas. Mrs. Ken-
nedy announced that Rev. G. E.
Morrow would be having the in-
stallation of UCW officers at
the Sunday morning worship ser-
vice January 2.
Twenty-five dollars was voted
towards the expenses of the young
people who are attending Too
Alpha Conference. Twenty-five

CHRISTMAS CONCERT
The annual Christmas concert
was held last Wednesday evening
in the church basement with a
good program.
