Contact Harry Hardy, Lucan 227-4841 or 227- 4535, representing Harry Wag- horn, Realtor, St. Marys. 19c Submits brief - Continued from page 9 In other recommendations the brief suggests that the Parkhill Dam be proceeded withbut points out that undue financial hard- ship should not be placed on any municipality. The building of dams on large and small streams should be proceeded with as rapidly as possible to provide public rec- reational sites as well as water storage facilities throughout the southern part of the province. Conservation authori- ties should prepare and work according to an official plan in the same way that municipalities do. The conservation authorities should continue to retain the power to expropriate lands under reasonable judicial limitations as this power is necessary in order that authorities may carry out schemes of land aquisition. In conclusion the Town of Ex- eter endorses the concepts of conservation, resource manage- ment and control of environmen- tal pollution and urges that the best machinery possible be es- tablished to carry out this es- sentlal work.
