about 15 eventually. The kit-
chen is manned by Spencer
Crane of Lambeth, formerly
of the Sunnydale Golf Club
and the Americana Restaur-
ant of London. The bartender
is martin Kantenberg, for-
merly of the Hotel London.
The building is fully air
conditioned. The interior de-
corating was tastefully con-
ceived by specialists from
Toronto.
The dining and cocktail
lounge is carpeted in deep
red pile wall to wall cover-
ing. Wagon wheels with coal-
oil style lamps form the
chandeliers.
Two see-through room di-
viders separate the dining
room and lounge creating
easy access in both direc-
tions. A mural of a rural
scene surrounded by antique
elm wood pannelling decor-
ates the lounge. Comfortable
captains chairs are featured
here as well.
A small stage at one end
of the room is backed up
with a wall made of a re-
flective plaster, adaptable
for a movie screen. This
feature will prove useful for
small conventions.
Throughout the building
ceiling speakers are con-
nected to an FM system.

The policy has not been fin-
alized yet, but it would ap-
pear rhythm and blues, coun-
try and western will be staple
fare.
Groups will be changed
every 10 to 14 days—or
overnight, as public taste
demands.
So far these groups have
entertained; Roger Quick and
his Rainbows from London,
Wayne Jessop and his Trio
from Goderich, Red Wayne
and his Country Rhythm Pals
from London, and Bob Whit-
man and his group from
Woodstock.
At first the proprietors
felt it would be difficult to
get good groups but the sup-
ply has been excellent.
The motel units are de-
corated in the same antique
elm parmelling with orange
and brown decorator effects.
Each has private bath, writ-
ing desk and comfortable
bed. They are also larger
than normal size.
The kitchen features gas
cooking with all the equip-
ment necessary to serve up
a snack or banquet feast on
short notice. A second ser-
vice kitchen serves the ban-
quet rooms in the basement.
