Rector speaks
to Trivitt WA
At the WA meeting of Trivitt
Memorial Church the rector,
Rev. J. P. Gandon, spoke on the
last two chapters of the study
book entitled 1 1) ries t" and
“Bishop".
Mr. Gandon pointed out that
most people expect a priest to
be different but this is not true—
they are Christians with a par-
ticular calling. They must be
specialists in no less than six
categories: administrator, or-
ganizer, pastor, pre ac her,
priest and teacher.
He explained the duties of a
bishop as administering con-
firmation and presiding at in-
ductions and he must know the
clergy in his diocese and place
them where their ability can
be used to the best advantage.
The annual WA Sunday will
be held April 25. The WA annual
meeting this year will be held
in London, April 27 and 28.
The next meeting will be held
Tuesday May 11 at 8 pm when
Mrs. Wand, a Huron diocese
delegate to the annual meeting
at Edmonton, will speak.
