garet, Ted and Mary. This was
also their Christmas gathering.

Nineteen m e m b e r s of the
Happy Doubles Club went carol
singing to the shut-ins in the
community Monday evening. All
returned to the manse where
lunch was served. DASHWOOD, ONTARIO
The choir, under the direction
of Mrs. Kenneth Hodgins, sang
an anthem. A solo was sung by
Mrs. Russell Wilson. The offer-
tory music was an organ and
piano duet by Marilyn Morgan
and Sharon Lightfoot.
A girl's choir provided the
music for the evening service.
Carols were sung and a film
was shown.

The annual Sunday School
concert was put on in the school-
room of the church Saturday
evening.
The beginners class under the
direction of their teachers Mrs.
Huxtable and Mrs. Blair enter-
tained with songs and recita-
tions. There were several reci-
tations, a vocal duet, a vocal
solo and a piano solo by boys
and girls in the primary class.
Teachers are Mrs. E. Powe
and Mrs. Langford.
Next on the program was the
Junior Worker's class with
Mrs. R. McFalls and Mrs. F.
Hicks as teachers. Their num-
bers included a recitation, an
exercise "0, what a differ-
ence", a vocal duet, and a short
play.
The Willing Worker's class
under the direction of Mrs. R.
Shoebottom and Helen McFalls
presented the play "Good For
Christmas". Mrs. Chas. Rol-
lings and Mrs. Heist are teach-
ers in the Young People's class
and their numbers were a piano
solo, a reading and a Christmas
pageant.
To highlight the evening's
entertainment the adult class
with Sam Skinner as master of
ceremonies presented an inter-
esting version of the TV pro-
gram "Act Fast." Panelists
were Mrs. E. Haist, Mrs. F.
Hicks, Mrs. R. McFalls, Mrs.
E, Powe, Mrs. R. Blair and
Mrs. Chas. Rollings.
Santa Claus arrived to dis-
tribute the gifts. Rev. Guest
was the chairman.
