NEIL In loving memory of
my dear huOand, Albert
ward Neil, who passed away
three years ago, December
19P 1961..
What Would I give to clasp his
hand,
His happy face to see,
To hear his voice and see his
smile,
That meant so much to me.
I dream of you, dear loved
one,
And see your smiling face,
And know that you are happy
In our Father's chosen place.

sadly missed by his wife

And loved ones have to part
It leaves a wound that never

GODERICH
An election upset at Clinton,
where Reeve Morgan Agnew
lost the reeveship to Duff
Thompson, removes one of
three announced candidates for
the wardenship of Huron.
The others, Reeve Glenn
Webb of Stephen and Reeve
Clifford Dunbar of Grey, were
not opposed.
With Mr. Agnew, deputy reeve
John Sutter, two years in county
council, went down to defeat on
a local issue in Clinton. His
successor will be George
Wouch.
Seven changes in county coun-
cil membership are assured,
several in what might be called
the ordinary course of events
and others through defeat at
the polls.
With the return on Monday of
Reeve Tom Leiner, of Hullett,
by a substantial majority, there
remains only McKillop in which
an election has not been held.
Nominations in that township
will be held Dec. 28, and voting,
if necessary, January 4. Ken-
neth Stewart is serving a first
term as reeve and may not be
opposed.
Deputy reeve Tom Howard,
of Ashfleld, lost to Gordon Boyd,
but deputy reeve Robert Gibson
survived a contest in Howick.
At Wingham, Reeve J. Roy
• Adair, 11 years in county coun-
cil, stepped aside for his deputy,
Joseph Kerr, chairman of the
1964 roads committee, and J.
Alexander is the new deputy
reeve.
Clarence E. Boyle succeeds
Glenn Fisher as reeve of Exe-
ter.
The election in Goderich, un-
opposed, of Reg. R.. Jewell as
reeve and Robert Squire as
deputy reeve returns the former
to county council in place of
Reeve Frank Walkom, who has
successfully contested the may-
oralty. Mr. Squire will enter
county council as deputy reeve.
