Rec League failed to pee the
Old Timers toppled as they
came up with another win and
this time at the expense of the
Bank Boys 8-4.
The Old Timers seem to.have
a well balanced team as no less
than seven players were in-
volved in the eight goals. Mur-
ray Bell, always a thorn in the
side of the opposition, scored
two,Murray Brintnell, Red
Loaer, Cy Bloanaert, Bill
Gilfillan, Ron Horne and Joe
Wooden each scored one.
The Bank Boys had two play,
ers each score two goals, Bill
Heywood and Gordon Howe (Ru s-
sell) in a losing cause.
The second game was a win
for Crediton—their first of the
season—as they defeated Gra-
ham & Graham 11-6. Mel Fink-
bother was the big gun in this
game as he scored six goals.
Jim Pfaff added two, Dundas,
Lamb and Lightfoot each added
one to round out the scoring
for Crediton.
For the Construction gang
Jim Hannah scored three, Walt
Tideman two and Jim MacDon-
ald one.

Teen Time Broom Ball on
Sunday saw Dinney's and Ma-
son's hooked up in a tough
game which was in doubt until
Pete McFalls finally scored
for Dinney's team to win the
game 1-0.
Hockey's team ran roughshod
over Hinton's team to win with
ease 3-0. Rick Schroeder with
two and Ron Cornish were the
marksmen for the winners.

Bowling Club held their annual
meeting Tuesday at which they
elected their executive for the
1965 season, and for the first
time in 23 years B. M. Francis
will not handle the position of
Secretary Treasurer.
The club members accepted
Mr. Francis' resignation with
much regret after his many
years of faithful service in that
office.
Fred Tilley succeeded Ray
Mills as president of the club
while the latter was elected as
the new secretary-treasurer.
Other officers include; Art
Cann, first vice-president; sec-
ond vice-president, Len Mc-
Knight; third vice-president, Ed
Chambers; auditor, W. H. Hodg-
son.

day night the Nationals defeated

scored four goals; Ricky Brint-
nell, a goaltender converted to
a forward line, scored two and
Ron Moore added one.
For the losers, Barry Bayn-
ham, Randy Parsons and Glen
Stire each scored a goal.

Girls hockey on Friday—
though it lacks somewhat in
finesse—does not lack in spirit
and the Leafs again won their
game from the Golden Hawks
3-2.
Leaf scorers were Joan
Campbell two and Jane Broder-
ick one. For the Hawks, afami-
liar name, Sheila Willert, scor-
ed both goals.
There was one penalty in this
cleanly played game and that
to Janet Davis for holding.

Hawks won their sixth consecu-
tive game defeating the Leafs
4-2. For the Hawks Larry Haugh

one. The Leaf scorer was Mur-
ray Hodge as he got both goals
for the losers.
In a trade made this week
Dale Parkins goes to Leafs in
exchange for David Sweitzer
who reports to the Hawks.
In squirt hockey the Blue
Wings won in a close game over
the Red Wings 3-2.
Randy Gilfillan scored two
and Ken Creech added one for
the winners. For the Red Wings
Jimmy Brintnell scored both
goals.

The three Exeter minor all-
star teams had little trouble
with Kensall Park when they
won all three games at the
Exeter Arena Wednesday. The
Pee Wees and Midgets both
registered shutouts over the
visitors by o-0 and 4-0 scores
while the Bantams won their
game 6-2.
