10 times in size since its humble
inception in •1954.
Rev, A. Martin, of the
Mennonite church, inaugurated
the schlepl and held daily pee,
etepe at the gNeterc oach Lines
shed at the north end of Fxeter.
Enrolment at that school was
29 children and about six staff
membere.
This weelc there are over 250
children attending the two-week
session and there are 24 staff
members. It hes moved from
its earlier headquarters and is
this year being conducted in
three Exeter churches.
Director of the Bible School
is Stanley Sander, pastor of
the Meneonite Church, who has
held that position for the past
nine yeers.
In 1955 the school moved into
the Mennonite Church which had
been purchased that yeer and
it was staffed by memberS of
that congregation until 1960
when it became interdenomina-
tional as far as the staff was
concerned, and teachers came
from various churches in the
community.
Due to the fact the numbers
had risen to 1'75 in 1959, the
use of the Christian Reformed
Church was employed. too, and
now this year, the students are
being taught in these two as well
as the Bethel Reformed Church.
Enrolment has gone as high
as 300 and may come close to
that figure before this year's
conclusion on Friday. Students
are transported by bus from
various sections of Exeter.
The Herald Press materials
are used and the curriculum is
graded similar to an elementary
school. The Exeter Bible School
has classes ranging from kin-
dergarten through to grade 10.
PLAN PROGRAM

by the pupils and their teachers
tonight (Thursday) at the Exe-
ter arena. Due to the fact the

gymnasium, the Bible School
program will be held lathe rink.
Everyone is welcome, and due
to the amount of space at their
disposal, Pastor Sauder noted
there would certainly be room
for as many as wanted to come.
The program will feature
some form of entertainment
from each of the classes and
there will be singing, recita-
tions, skits, etc.
Theme of this year's school
is "Serving God" and the mis-
sionary project is to aid the
Ailsa Craig farm for boys.
