She is survived by three sons, one daughter, all of Alberta, also two sisters, Mrs. Lavina Rothwell, Moose Jaw, Sask., Mrs. Alberta McBeth of Hen- sall; two brothers, Lawrence Moffatt, Regina Sask. and Alfred Moffat of Kippen. TO VISIT SHUT-INS Mrs. John Deitz chaired the meeting of the Hensall Kinette Club last Wednesday evening at the home of Mrs. William Mickle with 100% attendance. A donation was made to the Mental Health Association. It was decided to visit shut-ins in the village, hospitals, and nursing homes on Palm Sunday March 22. This is an annual project of the club. Ruth Ann Coleman read the minutes of the last meeting and the new secretary is tobeGwen McLean. Donna Stoll was elec- ted as commentator for achievement day. Mrs. Whitehouse gave the girls some tips about sewing their material and of bias bind- ing. The girls cut out their material. Mrs. Pearl Passmore pre- sented the Bible study "Intro- duction into the writings of the Old Testament". It was decided to hold an order bake sale May 9. Several suggestions for money making projects were discussed. Mrs. Wm. Mickle conducted acontest and the winners were Miss Mary Goodwin and Mrs. Wilmer Fer- guson. Skating star Pauline Bell, featured solo en- tertainer at Friday's minor hockey night, goes into a spin during her performance. Some 450 adults and 300 chil dren contributed $150 to Hensall park board Friday night to see the hi-jinx of the old-timers and the "try-jinx" of the young- sters, both of which are shown above.
