Mr. McKee had been in failing
health for some time and enter-

death,
The deceased was born in
Glenwood and resided in Hamill..
ton for a time before moving to
Dundas in 1924. He operated a
fuel business with hia brother-
in-law Stall Tudor, Hensall and
he sold out in 1994 to S. J,
Stewart.
During his residence in Dun-

Alf Moffatt received word
Saturday his sister, Mrs. Daniel
Kilpatrick, formerly Lillian
Moffatt, died at Leedale, Al-
berta on Feb. 28.
She is survived by three sons,
one daughter, all of Alberta,
also two sisters, Mrs. Lavina
Rothwell, Moose Jaw, Sask.,
Mrs. Alberta McBeth of Hen-
sall; two brothers, Lawrence
Moffatt, Regina Sask. and Alfred
Moffat of Kippen.
Funeral service was held
Monday from the United Church
in Rimbey, Alberta.

TO VISIT SHUT-INS
Mrs. John Deitz chaired the
meeting of the Hensall Kinette
Club last Wednesday evening at
the home of Mrs. William
Mickle with 100% attendance.
A donation was made to the
Mental Health Association. It
was decided to visit shut-ins
in the village, hospitals, and
nursing homes on Palm Sunday
March 22. This is an annual
project of the club. Vice presi-
dents' night is to be held March
11.
Several relay games were
played and a social hour enjoy-
ed.

The fifth meeting of the 4-H
club was held at the home of
Mrs. Ernest Whitehouse Satur-
day afternoon Feb. 29. There
were nine members who an-
swered the roll call.
Ruth Ann Coleman read the
minutes of the last meeting and
the new secretary is tobeGwen
McLean. Donna Stoll was elec-
ted as commentator for
achievement day.
Mrs. Whitehouse gave the
girls some tips about sewing
their material and of bias bind-
ing. The girls cut out their
material.
The next meeting is to be
held at 2 o'clock March 7 at
the home of Mrs. E. Whitehouse.

STUDIES OLD TESTAMENT
UCW unit 3 met Monday even-
ing with 18 in attendance for
their February meeting chaired
by leader Mrs. Ron Mock.
Mrs. Jean Cornell conducted
the devotional assisted by Mrs.
Robert Cook, and Mrs. Robert
Lambie, using the theme "Re-
ligion and Life".
Mrs. Pearl Passmore pre-
sented the Bible study "Intro-
duction into the writings of the
Old Testament".
It was decided to hold an
order bake sale May 9. Several
suggestions for money making
projects were discussed. Mrs.
Wm. Mickle conducted acontest
and the winners were Miss Mary
Goodwin and Mrs. Wilmer Fer-
guson.

tertainer at Friday's minor
hockey night, goes into a spin

dren contributed $150 to Hensall
park board Friday night to see
the hi-jinx of the old-timers and
the "try-jinx" of the young-
sters, both of which are shown

Smith obviously enjoys. Legion
won the "game", played with a
rubber ball and a rather strange
set of rules, 2-1. At times,
both goalies were defending the

out the Jets 2-0, Stars and
