SALAD DRESSING
2 eggs beaten
1 cup white sugar
1 tbl (rounded) mustard
1 tbl (rounded) corn starch
1 cup water
1 cup white wine vinegar
Bring water and vinegar to
a boil in a 4 qt. saucepan and
add the other ingredients which
have been mixed well. If these
ingredients make too thick a
mixture add a little cold water
before adding to hot mixture.
After it thickens when added
to hot water and vinegar let
stand on hot element which has
been turned off stirring oc-
casionally (this prevents dress-
ing from separating).
This dressing may be stored
in covered jar in refrigerator
for some time.
