Crediton UCW bazaar Saturday afternoon and food and gift items soon disappeared. The ladies find

Beta Sigma Phi held its annual
pledge ritual banquet at the Duf-
ferin Hotel, Centralia, Tuesday
evening.
Five new pledges were ad-
mitted into the sorority: Mrs.
John Suns e th, Mrs. William
Murray Brock, Mrs. Charles
Barrett, Mrs. Richards Arnet
and Mrs. Forest Baker. Mrs.
C. S. MacNaughton was also
given a pledge ritual as sponsor.
Beta Sigma Phi conferred the
honor of the Order of the Rose
on Mrs. Ross Tuckey. This
honor is bestowed on a member
after 15 years of faithful ser-
vice.

printed page. She told, too, of
the many places errors can
occur and many' experiences
from her own daily work as
city editor. She was introduced
by Mrs. Sterling Graham and
thanked by Mrs. Filmer Chap-
