A former resident of Exeter, Miss MacNaughton now lives in London, Bob Broderick, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Broderick, Andrew St., is going to barbers' school in London. PATON can and Clandeboye United Churches officiating. He died Friday, Sept. 27 at St. Joseph's Hospital after a lengthy illness, His wife, the late Bertha Oliver, died in 1960. He is survived by one son, Eugene Bice of Windsor, three daughters, Mrs. Wm. (Marion) Leadley of Hazelton, B.C., Mrs. David (Margaret) Butler of Guelph, Mrs. Charles (Betty) Coughlin at home. One son Carl Bice predeceased him in 1957. One sister, Mrs. Greeta Wil- liams, and two brothers, Gar- land Bice of Detroit and Mere- dith Bice of Charlevoix, Mich. also survive and seven grand- children. He was the son of the late Eli Bice and Ella Mae Steven- son Bice of a family of seven. He was predeceased by three brothers, Perry, Harold and Enson. He was born Oct, 28, 1890 in McGillivray township and had always lived there and farmed. He was a member of the Clan- deboye United Church. Interment took place in the family plot in St. James,ceme- tery. Pallbearers were Roy Cun- ningham, Jim Cunningham, Harold Lynn, Lloyd Lynn, Al- bert Gilmour and Alan Hill. A special feature will be the Middlesex Junior F ar mere tractor and machinery safety competition for which Clare Paton is chairman.
