Dashwood men create stone wall for cottages
Changes to the beach are continuing at Grand Bend. E. L. Keller arid Sons, Dashwood, are now
completing the stone wall which stretches from the foot of main street, south to the river. From
left are Arnold, Bev, Dawson and Elmer Keller, who make a business of buying old barn walls,
and other stonework throughout Huron and Perth, and further afield, for creating new walls. The
Section they are now completing is four feet high, and stretches for 150 feet. The wall serves a
dual purpose of holding sandy soil for property owners to landscape, and of creating an attractive
fence. —Dinnin photo
