DASHWOOD MERRY MAID
The second meeting of the
girls 4-H deb was held with
12 girls and the leaders, Mrs.
Eben Weigand and Mrs. Rudolph
Miller present.
Notes were on milk in many
forms and the pasteurization of
milk. The girls made checolate
milk shakes.
In connection with this meet-
ing the girls visited the butter
factory at Mitchell where they
saw milk pasteurized, the ma-
king of butter, and powdered
milk.

It was 59 years ago this week
that Art Willert, Dashwood,
gave up driving the stage to
take up farming, after doingthe
job daily for a number of years.
This picture was taken at the
time of his retirement in 1913.

Miss Ruth Restemayer, bride-
elect of this Saturday, was held
at the borne of Mrs. Elgin Rader
Thursday, September 26, with
about 30 relatives, friends, and
neighbors in attendance.

Harold Hendrick winner and
Mrs. Jack Gaiser consolation

Ruth was recipient of many
lovely gifts for which she gra-
