Guenther Tuckey adds automatic loader-carrier to fleet
This new 51-foot unit, recently added to the Guenther Tuckey Transports Limited fleet, incorporates
a blower system to load and unload bulk salt through stainless steel and rubber hose. Two pres-
surized bins in the tank will hold 24 tons of salt. A V-8 engine at the front of the machine provides
enough power to blow the salt a distance of 300 feet. The rear portion is a bin which collects dust
as the salt is being moved. Theunit weighs 13 tons empty, rides on 18 tires. --Doerr photo
