on the question, "Are you in favour of granting the appli-
cation of the Hay Township School Area Board of Trustees
to the Council of the Township of Hay and the Corporation of
the Village of Zurich, requesting approval from the Council
of the Corporation of the Township of Hay for an expendi-
ture of $80,000.00 to cover the cost of an addition of three
classrooms and a combined gymnasium— auditorium to
No. '7 Hay Township School Area, zurich Public School."
The Hay Township School Area comprises all or parts of
the Corporation of the Township of Hay and parts of the
Township of Stephen and parts of the Corporation of the
Village of Zurich.
The Council of the Corporation of the Township of Hay did,
on July 2nd, 1963 receive a request from the Board of
Trustees of the Hay Township School Area to submit the
application to a vote of the Electors of the Municipality,
The Council granted this request, and pursuant to the Muni-
cipal Act, Chapter 249, Sections, 255, 256, 257, 260, 261,
266, 267, 268, 270 and 271, the Council of the Township of
Hay enacted as follows;
