A number of district young people attended a barbecue at the home of Mr. and Mrs. David Kestle Sunday evening in honor of Robert Eaton. Robert was presented with a stirling silver tie clip and cuff links. A relative shower was held for Patricia Carter at the home of Mrs. Clarence Carter, the latter assisted by Mrs. Mill- man, maid of honor, and aunts, Mrs. Parker and Mrs. Geo. Lee. Contests were won by Mrs. Emalie Carter and Mrs. Floyd Blanchard, with a consolation prize for Karen Lee. Many lovely linens were pre- sented to the bride-to-be. Mrs. James Scott and infant son, Dean Allen returned home Saturday.
