Hydro Interruption
Hensall playground opens for four-week session
Hensall playground, under the direction of PS Teacher Eric Mansfield, began activities Monday
with a mock Olympics. Other activities this week will be an "On Wheels" parade Thursday and
an "On Wheels" contest Friday which will feature bicycles, wagons, etc. Friday afternoon, swim-
ming classes will be held at Seaforth pool. Above, one of the supervisors, Kathy Scene, organized

The Hensall summer play-
ground got underway Monday,
July 15 at the local park with
a mock field day. Eighty four
children from Hensel' anti dis-
trict from ages 5 to 12 enrolled.
Arts, crafts and games will
be featured on the program
which continues from July 15
to August 9.
Thursday, July 18 will feature
"On Wheels Day", highlighting
decorated bicycles, tricycles
with prizes to be awarded.
Friday, "On Wheels Day"
with contests.
Recreation director is Mr.
Eric Mansfield, assistants Miss
Ann Mickle, Miss Cathy Searle,
Don Lenaghan and Bill Soldan. affecting all customers north of Main St, and east of the
railway tracks.
Family travels
eastern coast
Mr. and Mrs. Laird Mickle,
Bob and Ann have returned
from a pleasant motor trip
through the Eastern Provinces
of Canada. They left home al-
most a month ago and drove
down into Quebec around the
Gaspe' Peninsula and on into
New Brunswick, over to Prince
Edward Island back to Nova
Scotia and up through Cape
Breton Island. From there they
crossed over to Newfoundland
and drove right across the Pro-
vince to St. Johns' where they
spent four days.
On returning to the Mainland
they drove around the beautiful
Cabot Trail on Cape Breton Is-
land, From there to Halifax
and back up through the central
and western parts of Nova Scotia
and New Brunswick crossing
over into Quebec where they
went on conducted tours of Que-
bec City and Montreal.

The annual McArthur reunion
was held on Sunday, July 14, at
Exeter with members of the clan
attending from Blenheim, Lon-
don, Manitoba, Ingersoll, Zur-
ich, Exeter and Hensall.
