accident on Thursday afternoon,
May 40 while crankingthetrac-
tor on his farm here. Dr, Mer-
edith of Allsa Craig took i to
St. Joaephia
Later it was found a bone was
broken, in his left writst, On
Tuesday he returned to hospital
and had another cast put on.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Carter and
family have taken up residence
on lot 20, Con. 2, McGillivray
township, This farm has been
in the Carter name for many
years. He has sold his farm on
the Moorseyille side road to
Mr. Vannsette.

suffered a heart attack, while
cutting the lawn at his home on
Saturday afternoon, May 18. He

Mrs. Joseph Simpson, 67,
died at the home of her son,
Wilfred Simpson, Peterbor-
ough, on Monday May 13.
She was the former Millie
Mae Dundas of Cumberland,
Wisconsin. She was one of a
family of 11, moving to Canada
in 1903 taking up residence in
the Clandeboye community in
1913. She married Joseph E.
Simpson in 1916 and they made
their home in Mooresville. Mr.
Simpson died in 1934. She had
been living with her son for the
past six years.
She was a member of St.
James Church, Clandeboye.
