Carol singing
On Wednesday evening, 16
members of the Happy Doubles
Club went carol singing to the
shut-ins in the community, The
shut-ins were all presented with
a poinsettia. All returned to the
manse where turkeyburgers,
donuts, coffee, etc, were much
enjoyed, Rev. lIugh and Mrs.
Wilsonwere presented with a
plant.
School Christmas concert
On Friday evening, Thames
Road school concert was held
inthe church basement, Under
the leadership of their teacher,
Mr. Ron Patterson, and the
pianist, lvliss Agnes Bray, the
children presented a very fine
program which consisted of
recitations, dialogues, choruses,
etc. Mr, Lloyd Knight was
chairman for the evening, Rev.
Hugh Wilson spoke a few words
also the teacher, Air, Patter.
