widow of the late Thomas
Boyes and a life long resident
of this .community, died in
South Huron hospital on Fri-
day, Nov. 24 •following a leng-
thy illness. The deceased had
been hospitalized for the past
six reeks but previous to that
time was confined to bed over
e, year and eared or by her
da,ighter, Mrs. Elmer Wilson,
with wheel she resided since
her husband's death seventeen
years ago.
Surviving are her daughter
(Verda) Mrs. Elmer Wilson of
AlcGillivi ay T o w n s h i p, her
grandson, Douglas Wilson, and
two great-grandchildren, Don-
na May and Jimmie Wilson of
Strathroy.
The deceased was a member
of Centralia United •Churchand
when health permitted took an
active part in the work of the
Woman's Association, Her
kindly disposition endeared her
to a Bost of friends who called
to pay final tribute as she lay
at rest in the Hopper -Hockey

The funeral service was con-
ducted by the Bev. D. M,
Guest on Monday with inter-
ment in the Exeter cemetery,
