The program which consisted
of recitations, drills, dance
numbers, piano solos and vocal
solos was well put on and much
appreciated,
The church basement was
nicely decorated with pumpkins
and Hallowe'en cut-outs suit-
able for the occasion. Popcorn
balls and candy were sold aft-
er which lunch was served to
all present.

on Saturday evening and en-
joyed the evening bowling.

different booths. Christmas
puddings and Christmas cakes
will be for sale, with home-
made pies and cakes, home-
made candy and a farmer's
booth with vegetables and
fruits.

At the meeting of the Wom-
en's Federation of the United
Church held at the home of
Miss Aggie Northgraves tate
guest speaker was the section-
al president, Mrs. Jack Rosser,
Ailsa Craig.
Mrs. Rosser stressed the im-
portance of missions, for a
church without missionary
spirit is dead. "The need is
great, so support with your
prayers and funds", she said.
