Mrs. Sarah Agner Payne of
Moosejaw, Sask„ died on Wed-
nesday at the home of her sis-
ter, Miss Margaret Miller lot
10, Con, 9 Hibbert Township.
She was the former Sarah
Agnes Miller and moved. to
Moosejaw in 1914.
Her husband, the late Eustace
Payne, died two years ago.
Mrs. -Payne was a member of
Trinity United Church, Moose -
;jaw, and of its WATS and WA
and was also a member of the
Pythian Sisters. She 'was a for-
mer member of Cromarty Pres-
byterian Church.
Surviving are one son, Leon-
ard of Grenfell, Sask.; two
brothers, James Miller, Hib-
bert and George Miller, Lon•
don; two sisters, Mrs, Ernest
Templeman and Miss Marga-
ret Miller, both of Hibbert
township.
The funeral was held at the
Heath -Leslie funeral home, Mit-
chell, on Saturday and was con-
ducted by Rev. A, H. Daynard
of Staffa United Church.
The pall -bearers were, John
Templeman, Alvin Cole, Bert
Mahaffy, Leslie Miller, and Sa-
muel Norris of Hibbert and Wil-
fred Annis of Logan.
Burial was in Knox Presby-
terian. cemetery, Mitchell.
