chose a floor -length gown of
white nylon lace over white
peau-de-soie with three-quarter
sleeves, scalloped neckline and
aisle -wide skirt. Her shoulder-
aength double veil was of
French illusion and she carried
bouquet of pink Delight
roses, stephanotis and ivy.
Miss Kathryn Hicks, sister
of the bride, as maid of honor
and Miss ,Mary Lou McCann,
sister of the groom, and Miss
Anne Gelinas, London, cousin
of thegroom, as bridesmaids
were ,gowned alike in green
peau-de-soie s h. eat h dresses
with three-quarter length over-
skirts of lace. They carried
bouquets of yellow carnations
and stephanotis. Flower -girls,
Carolyn and. Diane McCann, sis-
ters of The groom, were gowned
in yellow -flocked nylonover
yellow taffetawith matching
accessories. They carried nose-
gays of light yellow Pinnocchio
niu.ms with open pink Delight
rose in centre of each.
Ken McCann was best man
for his brother and Reg Bran-
non, RR 2, Dashwood, and Ed
Glavin, RR 1, Centralia usher-
ed.
A reception was held in the
Crediton Community Centre
where the bride's mother re-
ceived in a lilac gloria satin
sheath with white accessories
and yellow mum corsage. The
groom's mother chose an aqua
brocaded sheath with match-
ing duster, white accessories
and corsage of white mums.
For travelling to points north
the bride donned .a lilac two-
piece sheath dress with darker
tone lilac accessories and cor-
sage of mauve end white var-
iegated carnation corsage.
Mr. and Mrs. McCann will
reside in Exeter.

designed with shallow scoop
neckline trimmed with Guipure
lace, lily point sleeves. A head-
piece of seed pearls held her
fingertip veil and she carried
a white Bible crested with
pink roses.
Maid of honor, Miss Winni-
fred Collings, Toronto, brides-
maids, Miss Kay Horne, Win-
chelsea, and Misses Barbara
and Hazel Zavitz, Nilestown,
were gowned alike in street -
length dresses of coral rose
organza over taffeta, They
carried baskets of shasta
daisies and pink roses.
Stephen Sparling • as ring -
bearer wore a white suit. Don
Hope, Dorchester, was grooms-
man and ushers were William
Heard, St. Marys, and William
Zavitz, Nilestown.
A reception. was held in the
church rooms.
For a honeymoon spent in
Muskoka, the bride changed to
a powder blue linen sheath
with matching duster.
The couple will reside near
Nilestown.

New Toronto, Doris Mary Pet-
tifer, daughter of Mrs. Charles
'Pettifer, of Campellford, On-
tario and the late Mr. Pettifer
became the bride of Elgin

and Mrs. Everett Skinner,
Exeter. Rev. Keith Woolward
officiated.
The bride was given in mar-
riage by W. L. MacFayden.
She chose a gown of white
silk organza and taffeta with.
applique trim. Her illusion
veil was held by a coronet of
pearls and petals and slie car-
ried orchids and stephanotis,

organza over floral paint with
matching picture hats and cas-
cade bouquets of pink and

groom, wore a white organza
frock with blue trim and car-
rieda nosegay of blue and
white carnations.
Ross Laking of Montreal
was best man and ushers were
Bartley Pettifer and George
Pettifer, nephews of the bride.
A reception was held in the
Pickfair Restaurant, Mimico.
The couple left fora trip to
Wisconsin, On their return
they will make their home in
Islington.

merbund and full skirt with

Ontario the bride changed to
a white and brown printedsilk
dress with white accessories
and white rose corsage.
The couple will make their
home in Dashwood.

formed the ceremony. Mrs.
Francis Manual, Cloverdale Rd.
Halifax provided the wedding
music.
Given in marriage by her fa-
ther the bride chose a street -
length dress of white nylon with
all white accessories. She car-
ried an arm bouquet of red
roses interlaced with lily of the
valley.
The bride's sisters were her
attendants: Mrs. Ethyl Law-
rence, 'Middle Sackville, as ma-
tron of honor and 'Mrs. Marion
is there anybody here with a
better mousetrap?"

maid. They were gowned in ny-
lon organdy in blue and pink
respectively with white acces-

mums, red roses and lily of the

Middle Sackville at the home
of the bride's sister and bro-
ther-in-law, Mr. a .n d Mrs.
Lawrence. The bride's mother
wore a dress of apple green
linene trimmed with lace and a
red rose corsage. The groom's
mother chose a blue bemberg
crepe with red rose corsage.
For travelling in United Sta-
tes and Ontario the bride
donned a mauve printedcot-
ton with white accessories.
