Charles Becker, Douglas Smith; girls, Helen Corran, Elaine Berry, This week in With, warmer weather finally moving in, kids of all ages are beginning to take full advent age of the swimming classes offered at Riverview Park under the sponsorship of the Exeter Kinsmen Club, To date, some 160 boys and girls have been registered for classes. And still more are coming in. Instructors Martha Cochrane and Heather Strom will continue to accept regis- trations all this week. Two special events have been planned by the two water di- rectors besides the usual tea- ching of swimming instruc- tions. First of all, Miss Cochrane will direct instructions for a swim team, Three classes will be held from .1.2 p.m. Monday through Friday for anyone from 6 to 16 years of age. You don't have to be taking lessons to participate. All you have to have is some basic swimming strokes. Bronze class Miss Heather Strom will con- duct a Bronze Class for all. who have passed their Senior Red Cross tests. This class will start next week and to parti- cipate. you must be 14 years old. The class shouldalso con- sist of at ].east six swimmers. Anyone interested is asked to inquire at the park for the -va- rious times the class will be held. During the first week that the instructors and life guards have been on hand and although the weather has been very chil- ly, close to 500 children, stu- deets and adults usedthe pre- mises of the Riverview Park swimming area.
