two chapters of the study "The
Turning World," Mrs. C. Chris-

Four or five carloads are to
go to Mitchell in the near fut-
ure to view the new addition to
the Sunday School of the Unit-
ed. Church.
Contests were arranged by

Fractures shoulder
Mrs. Hugh Love slipped on
the icy street on Saturday and
fractured her left shoulder.
She was taken to Clinton Pub-
lic Hospital for X-rays and
treatment. Her shoulder was
placed in a cast on Monday.

The WMS of Carmel Presby-
terian Church held its March
meeting in the schoohroom of
the church on Monday.
In keeping with the Easter
theme, Mrs. Len Purdy and
Mrs. Basil Edwards assisted in
the devotional. Mrs. Malcolm
Dougall favoured with a musi-
cal number and Mrs, Archie
Hoggarth gave the Easter mes-
sage.
A minute of silence was ob-

Mrs. D. J. Lane of Clinton.
The Ladies' Aid met following
the `VMS meeting, when a bake
