Injured in fall Mr, Maurice Hirtzel, Credi- ton R.B.2, was seriously injured in a fall at the barn and is a patient in St. Joseph's Hospi- tal, London. He was alone at the time but it is thought he fell down a straw shute to the cement floor injuring his back and causing internal injuries. He was taken to hospital by Hoffman's ambu- lance. He lives on the farm one mile south of Crediton with his bro- ther, Harry, and they are well-known dealers in Hereford cattle, Crediton Colleens The second 4-H meeting of the Crediton Colleens was held on • Saturday, February 18 in the community hall with an attendance of 12, The girls took each others' measurements and recorded them.
