Injured in fall
Mr, Maurice Hirtzel, Credi-
ton R.B.2, was seriously injured
in a fall at the barn and is a
patient in St. Joseph's Hospi-
tal, London.
He was alone at the time but
it is thought he fell down a
straw shute to the cement floor
injuring his back and causing
internal injuries. He was taken
to hospital by Hoffman's ambu-
lance.
He lives on the farm one mile
south of Crediton with his bro-
ther, Harry, and they are
well-known dealers in Hereford
cattle,
Crediton Colleens
The second 4-H meeting of
the Crediton Colleens was held
on • Saturday, February 18 in
the community hall with an
attendance of 12,
The girls took each others'
measurements and recorded
them. The notes, which in this
club, are typed for each one,
were then handed out. All
members took part in correct
posture.
