Bring back
Henderson
James St. AOTS club is bring-
ing Larry Henderson back to
Exeter with another of his
travel -studies of the troubled
areas of the world.
Henderson will describe his
recent tour of the Far East in
the church auditorium Wednes-
day, March 8. The men's club,
which puts tickets on sale this
week, expects a capacity crowd
similar to the one which heard
his Russian travelogue.
The news commentator will
feature a u - lengthcolor
movie, ''The Challenge of Asia"
which illustrates the glamor
and dangers of the exotic east.
' Henderson travellel thou-
sands of miles by plane and
jeep into the interior of the
forbidden Himalayan kingdoms
and tropical jungles to seek
the story behind Chinese com-
munist aggression.
In Sikkim, on the frontier of
Tibet, he was a guest of H. H.
the Maharajah and met the
family of the Dalai Lama. He
ran the rebel gauntlet in Bur-
ma to interview Dr. Gordon
Seagrave, the embattled Amer-
ican missionary.
in Laos, he investigated the
civil war which has drained
the lifeblood of this remote
kingdom. And in Hong Kong,
he -studied the refugee situation
which threatens to overturn
this last British bastion in the
Far East.
