REGULATIONS MADE BY THE
AUSAI3LE RIVER CONSERVATION AUTHORITY UNDER,
THE CONSERVATION AUTHORITIES ACT
1. In these regulations,
(a) "Authority" Means Ausable River Conaervatiori Author-
ity;
.,(b). "fill" means fil1 of any kind,

permit fill to be placed or dumped in any area below the
high water nark of Any river, creek or stream in the area
under the jurisdiction of the Autherity.
Subject to The Ontario Water Resources Cenimissiori Act,
1957, or to any other private interest, the Authority may
permit itt writing the placing or dumping of fill 1 an
area 'below the high water mark, if, in the. Opinion of the
Autherity, the plating ot dumping doe S not interfere with
the ability of the river, creek or stream to safely carry the
maximum flood Beset and wilt not result in pollution Of

the river, ereek or stream shall be commenced until the
registered, owner of the property has obtained the permis•
