Jul iette's den
By ELIZABETH TOUCHETTE
Juliette is on the move again.
This time to a new apartment in
the same building, one with a
balcony,
It's being decorated now with
the bedroom in periwinkle blue
with lots of white. She's going
back to the champagne and
spice colours for her living,room.
"I just didn't like living with
the white and gold. I guess I
prefer the warm, earthy col-
ours," she says.
Jullette's den wall is reserved
for the various keys to the cities
which she has received and the
plaques presented by grateful
organizations.
Still no word from CFPL-TV
regarding her show but I under-
stand it is being carried by
Wingham's channel 8.
Andy Body has a double job
and a highly important one this
season. He's dancing on 'Hit Pa-
rade' and choreographing the
Kane Hour segment of 'Music
Sixty'.
Just about the cutest sight
around TV rehearsal halls is
tiny Joyce Hahn, in a black leo-
tard, black Jamaica's, a bright
blouse and red -pointed tpe, stilt
heel shoes.
The Van Evora Brothers are
spread out over several shows
this season. Jim is on the Kane
Hour, Jack with, Hit Parade, El-
lie and Wally are subbing and
doing commercials and Bill is
with Country's Singing Swinging,
Eight.
So far, every group Bill has
appeared with has won a Liber-
ty award, It will be interesting
to see how these singing square
dancers make out,
The hoedown group is com-
posed of some good talent, all
pros Who have worked singly or
in groups before. In addition to
Bill there are Sandra O'Neill,
Stephanie Taylor, Barbara Bar-
low, Laura Burkley and Chris-
tine Scott, Harry Harding, Jim-
my Hannan, Gordon Lightfoot
and Ray Marlowe. It adds up to
a group of ten which alternates
to give one couple a week off out
of every five.
In my opinion: Just about the
sickest, most asinine show I've
ever seen is the Plouffe suces-
sor "Town Above."
