hears talent
The Senior Citizens Club held
its first meeting of the season
on Tuesday night with a good at-
tendance, Greetings and best
wishes were extended to the
newly farmed Senior Citizens
club in I-Ien.sall.
Mr. Joe White was chairman
for the program which included
readings by Mrs. William Stade,
Mrs. Alton Isaac and Sharon
Passmore; vocalduets by Joyce
and Judy Mayers, vocal trio by
Faye, Jeanne and Darlene Tem-
pleman and accordion and piano
solos by Linda Rader.
Numbers were rendered by the
orchestra, Mrs. Jim Clarke,
Mrs. William Stade and Don
Dinney wlho also played for the
dance which followed.- " •
Members of the Legion Aux-
iliary served the .lunch.

The assessment roll for 1960
was received. from Assessor G.
Coyne arid the roll showed an
increase over 1959 roll of $9303.00 -
the .total being $2,425,830.00. The
court of revision for appeals
against assessments, will be
held at 1 P.M. on Friday, Octo-
ber 30 at the Township Ball.
All farm, properties have been
assessed 2/5 of one mill Federa-
tion of Agriculture membership
fees, and anyone who does not
wish to have this rate levied on
his property in 1960 should noti-
fy the Clerk. in writing to have
it struck off, on or before Octo-
ber 31, 1959.
R. Parsons was engaged by
the Township to plow snow in
the winter months at $7.00 per
hour and $20.00 per day stand-
by time, when there is no snow
to plow.
The next regular meeting will
be held on Monday, November
2, at 1 p.m.
