Rowena Abbott, bride -elect of
Saturday, were co -hostesses for
a miscellaneous shower in the
Parish hall at St. Patrick's
church last Wednesday.
The friends formed groups and

On Tuesday evening nearly 100
friends, relatives and neighbors
gathered in the church base-
ment to honor Miss Margaret
Bray, bride -elect of Saturday.
Mrs. Robert Simpson was in
charge of the program which
consisted of a vocal solo by Mrs.
Muriel Miller, a reading by Mrs.
Melvin Gardiner and a mock
wedding directed by Mrs. Lloyd
Knight. Those taking part were:
the bride, Mrs. William Snow;
bridesmaid, Mrs. William Allen;
groom, Mrs. Reg Hodgert; best
man, Mrs. Lloyd Knight; bride's
father, Mrs. Mac Hodgert; min-
ister, Mrs. Ross Hodgert.
Miss Joanne Hodgert under an
umbrella announced a shower
coining up To the strains of the
Bridal Chorus played by Mrs.
William Rohde Mrs. Mac Hod-
gert escorted Margaret to a dec-
orated chair. Mrs. Mac Hodgert
read an address and gifts were
presented.
