Mrs. Lamport was born in Exeter a daughter of the late James and Jennie Gould. The Goulds at one time conducted a grocery store in the building now owned by Mr. E. C, Harvey, Mrs. Lamport was a milliner in her younger years and worked in other places during the mil- linery season. Besides her husband she is survived by a step -daughter Ruth, o Toronto. She was a member of the Main St. United Church, The funeral Friday was held from the R. C. Dinney funeral home conducted by the Rev. R. S. Hiltz, interment in the Exeter cemetery.
