A few weeks ago 1 was at
'Country Hoedown' rehearsals
when T.OMMY Commons brought
his young son Jamie back to
the lounge. The three-year-old
!put up with the adult inanities
quite well- until his dad carried
m s
-
iuon his shoulders. to the
make -op rooin. Poor Jamie
thought he'd been tricked and
howled his protest. The room
has half a dozen barber chairs
and the youngster evidently
thought Tommy had found a new
way of luring him for a haircut,
It. took quite awhile for us to
realize just •svhat had happened
and why Jamie had streaked out
of the lounge and back to his
m other.
There are high hopes for the
summer show "Parade". It has
all the ingredients ef a fine pro-

said that in spite of many liberal
advancements made by the pres-
.ent Argentine government that,
ousted the .dictatorial Peron re-
gime, a few non-Catholic reli-

illegal by the Peron government
have yet to be recognized by
Argentine s constitutional, presi-

According to M. Smith, two
future appeals have been made
to the present government to
rescind an order passed in Per-
on's time denying J ehovah's
Witnesses the right to register.
The latest appeal was made fol -
rowing a new decree signed by
Frondizi on February 6, 1959,
