Lamport led the business portion of the meeting and reports were given and plans made to prepare quilts for a bale. Invitations were read to .a meeting of the Shipka ladies and to the daffodil party sponsored b'y the Exeter brueli of the cancer sOciety, Tuesday evening, 'April 7 in James Street church, Exeter. Mrs. E. Lamport and Mrs. Garfield Hill were hostesses for the social hour which followed the meeting. Nelson Sinclair Stephen farmer Following a lengthy illness Nelson Sinclair died at South Huron Hospital on Thursday, March 12' in his 79th year. Mr, and Mrs. Sinclair farmed for many years in Stephen Town- ship and later retired to Cred- iton. They marked their golden wedding anniversary over one year' ago. Surviving, besides his wife, the former Lillian Smith, are a sister, Mrs. Lulu. Eagleson of Dashwood and a brother, Ernest Hutchinson of Preston. Service was heldat the T.
