Grey Twp. holds
November meeting
The regular meeting of the
Council of the Township of Grey
was held in the Municipal Office on
Nov. 4 at 7 p.m.
Mr. Charles Thomas attended
the meeting to explain his request
for a land severance. Council
reviewed the 25 applications for
the position of Clerk-Treasurer and
tax collector for the Township and
Mr. Bradley Knight, son ofJack
and Donna Knight of Grey Town-
ship was selected. Mr. Knight will
commence duties November 20.
Two applications for snow plow
driver were received and Murray
Ducharme was hired for the
1985-86 season.
Accounts for the roads were
approved in the amount of
$21,485.11 and the general ac-
counts were $36,406.22
A new fire extinguisher was
purchased for the Walton Waste
Disposal Site and it was decided to
bill the Townships of Morris and
McKillop for their share.
The problem of garbage being
left at the Disposal Site gate was
discussed but to conserve costs it
was felt that it should be open only
on Saturday at least for the winter
months.
Building permits were issued to
the following people: Carl Hinz for
an implement shed, Brenda Brown
for an addition to a dwelling,
Meriam Terpstra for a mobile
home, Carl Hinz to demolish a silo,
Elsie Kitzman fora small barn, and
Cliff Dunbar for an addition to his
dwelling.
A donation of $100.00 was given
to the Brussels Santa Claus Parade
for the year 1985.
The next regular meeting was
set for Monday, November 18 at
10:00 a.m. in the Township Council
Chamber.

in her home. Carmen Klaux
R.D.M.T., I. D. has moved to the
house (red insulated siding) across
from the chopping mill.
Mrs. Klaus is an reflexologist,

out and do house calls or in her
home by appointment only.

have planned for a hot dinner this
Wednesday.
Ham is to be served along with
hot vegetables and apple crisp for
dessert. Be there at the hall shortly
after 11:30 a.m. will serve till
everyone is fed.
The next Institute meeting will
be held at the hall, Wednesday
evening, November 20.
Winners in
sports draw
The monthly draw of the Walton
Area Sports was held at a recent
meeting. Winners of the $100, first
prize was Joan Jones of the village
and second prize of $25 went to
Joyce Van Vliet of R.R. 2, Brussels.
