Coun. Cal Krauter (Reeve of
Brussels) agreed.
According to Krauter, "you
don't legislate liquor out.... you
educate it out."
Coun. Brian McBurney (Reeve
of Turnberry), acting chairman of
the health board, said the decision
by the board to pass the resolution
was made strictly on the issue of
health risks and only after consid-
erable discussion by the members.
On a close vote council decided it
would endorse the resolution.

NAMES MAKE NEWS
People want to know what people in the community are doing and
we're always grateful to get bits of news about local people. We're
even happier when we can be sure we're spelling people's names
right. Sometimes it is hard to make out just what names are in
handwritten accounts.
You can help us all by giving your reports on lined paper and printing
carefully all names so even the near-sighted editor can't mistake the
spelling.

takes everyone's help; so I am asking for suggestions, ideas
