ARE ALL
..„1 WIVES
FED UP ?
When they are troubled by backache,
that tired out feeling or disturbed rest,
many, many women turn to Dodd's
Kidney Pills. These conditions can be
caused by eicess acids and wastes in
the system and Dodd's Kidney Pills
atimulate the kidneys and aid their
normal action of removing these excess
acids and wastes. Then life seems
brighter, housework lighter! Why don't
you, too, try Dodd's? 63
Testament
him. It is this, "Preacher, get
out of the way. Let the message
do its own work."
President for the coming year
is Rev. Samuel Kerr; vice-presi-
dent, Rev., W. F. Krotz, and
secretary -treasurer, 'Rev. G, R.
Strome.
Rev. A. Van Eek, of Exeter,
presented a paper which was
well received. It was entitled,
"Corporate responsibility in the
Old Testament," He said "The
Old Testament is inspired of
God.- There is unity between the
Old and New Testament, Accord-
ing to Ezekiel, the individual is
responsible for his own sin.
Man was made in the likeness
of God. Man is a part of society,
past and present. Corporate re-
sponsibility results in corporate
action. Because Achan took
something to which he had no
right, God punished Israel. He.
and his entire family lost their
lives, because they condoned his -
action.
Isaiah felt responsible for the
sin of his people. He did not
place himself above his people.
Every .Christian is. to- fight every
kern' -Of now, because we
are our brother's keeper, and
our brother's brother. Every man
is responsible to God."
Is Winter Here?
After a rather pleasant fall,
the first snowfall came several
days ago followed by a blizzard
with very cold weather and high
wind.
For some it is not too pleasant,
especially the farmer who must
have his stock inside, which
means much extra work.
For those who travel the high-
ways and byways it means more
danger with slippery and snow
covered roads to contend with.
From now on there will be a
longing for the spring days again.
