Lloyd :Glanville, son of Mrs.
. Glanville and the late Ernest
• Glanville, died Thursday. Octo-
ber 3.6, In Westminster, B:C.
He was in his early 50s, and
had been ill for a number of
years. Surviving besides his
widow and his mother, are one
son and one brother.
Alfred Wuerth, Exeter, and
Edgar Wuerth, Zurich, are
uncles of the deceased..

Mark Anniversary At Centralia
Rev. W. R. Tristram of Rom-
ney -Glenwood was the guest
minister at the Centralia United
Church anniversary service on
Sunday morning with a large
congregation in attendance,
• Using as his text "The Secret
of the Lord is with them that
fear him" Rev. Tristram deliver-
ed an inspiring message. The
choir was assisted by Mr. Harry
Hein who sang two solos. The
church was nicely decorated
with fruits, vegetables, autumn
leaves and chrysanthemums.
Rev. J. T. Clarke returned to
his former pastoral charge in
Romney -Glenwood to conduct an-
niversary' services while Rev.
Tristram was in Centralia. Mrs.
Clarke and Allison accompanied
Mr. Clarke and spent the week-
end with friends there.
Girls At Clinton
The Centralia C.G.I.T. ac-
companied by leaders, Mrs. J.
Essery and Mrs. C. Rollings at-
tended the world friendship rally
of teen-age girls in Clinton on
Sunday afternoon and conducted
the worship service,

ned for the following Tuesday.
The election of officers will be
:held at the November ' meeting.

Hodgins, Mrs. Langford and Mrs.
