Mrs, VV, Carlisle
Active In Church
Mrs; Wilson Carlile, a resi-
dent of Hensall for 30 years, died
at her home on Sunday, June 15,
The forme- Eva Alice lludsor
she was horn at Hillsgreen and
was in her 75th year.
She was an active member of
Hensall united Church, life
member of the Woman's Mis-
sionary Society, and a former
treasurer; former member of
the choir, member of Amber Re-
bekah Lodge and Women's Insti-
tute.
Mr. Carlile predeceased her
some years ago. Surviving are
one son, 'Walker, Hensall; three
daughters (Muriel) Mrs. Wesley
Richardson, Hensall; (Martha)
Mrs. Harold. Stokes, Victoria,
B,C.; and (Annie) Mrs. Lealand
Willert, Zurich; 11 grandchil-
dren; four sisters, Mrs, Annie
!Logan, London; Mrs. John Con-
sitt, Mrs, William Douglas, Mrs.
Albert Harvey, all of Bruce -
field.
Funeral services were held
from Hensall United Church on
Tuesday conducted by Rev.
Chas. D. Daniel who paid fitting
tribute to the life of the de-
ceased. Mrs. T. C. Coates ren-
dered a solo. Miss Greta Lanl-
mie was at the church, organ
and 'the choir assisted with the
singing of the hymns.. Bonthron
funeral chapel was in charge.
Burial was in Bayfield ceme-
tery.
Pallbearers were Eldon Jar-
rott, John Jarrott, Lindsay Eyre,
Hugh Love, Roy Consitt, Hen-
sall and Robert Green, Port
Stanley.

the Peppier-Huen wedding at
Hanover on Saturday. The groom
is a nephew of Mrs. Bonthron.
