HUGE SIGN ON NEW STORE FRONT— A long 60 -foot
sign erected on the store front identifies the new Crest
Hardware in Hensall, which opens this week, Over 30 in-
dependently -owned hardwares in Ontario now display a
similar sign over their modernized premises. The Crest
hardware group is an organization of retailers banded
together to take advantage of the savings possible through
group buying. It also provides important merchandising
advice which is as important to the customer as to the
dealer. This development in the hardware line follows
a similar growth which has taken place in the food in-
dustry. —Photo by Doerr
