"If you haven't tried ,curling," says Reg, "you're missing one of the finest games for young And :old alike that you have. ever Seen participated in. You will find :more friendship on a curl- Mg rink than anywhere else." "The peter club has purch- ased. 40 pairs ..of .curling stones for the use of members, so come. out and. try the game for your-, self." "If you lived in the west;" the president continued, ."you. would lie railroaded out of town if YOU. didn't curl." The club has set aside Wed- .nesday afternoons for the ladies. And Wednesday evenings for the Men. .Legion Bantams Whip Centralia Exeter Legion Bantams re- mained undefeated in the WO- AA Bantam loop ,as. they upset- the winless Centralia Flyers to the tune of 17-1. Oddly enough, Centralia scored the first goal of the game to take a 1-0 lead at the 2:35 mark of the first period when left- winger Lamb beat Exeter goal- tender 'Ted Sanders with a shot. It took the Exeter lads less t 4 than two Minutes to tie the score and from there on, they le fattened their scoring averages. Frank "Derry" Boyle fired another four • goals in the game for the third time this year and Jack Stephan, smooth skating winger on Boyle's line, scored four more to pace the Legion Bantam's victory, Centre Dale Turvey produced a "hat trick" while Bob Jones and Bill Heywood registered two apiece. 'Dean McKnight and Bev Sims rounded out the Exeter scoring attack with single's. The next home game will be, on January. 4 when Lucan comes t to Exeter for a 7 o'clock game. „ FAST RELIEF FOR TIRED FEET 711111111437,101.1, WINN 11111 lllll 11111111111111111111,111111 tt f1 l 10111 tttt f ttttttttttttt titql tttttttttt 1 ttttttttt 1111,11,1 lllll llllll 1,1111001 lllll 1,111.11111,4 Cheques ... . . printed to your individual business requirements are a valuable asset, For quality that will add pres- tige to your accounting system, cat a very moderate rate, consult • THE TIMES-ADVOCATE llllll ll ti ll ll ittitlielittifil llllllll Oittli1101101110 lll i ll Ofits111111ti llllllllllllllll 1 lllll lllllllll 1 llllll 111 ll 11 llllllll 91101" Exeter Motor Sales.
