A total of 60 veterans registered from widely scattered points in Ontario, including Toronto, Lindsay, Kitchener, London, Elmira, Picton, Sault Ste Marie, Hanover and the immediate district. •' ' f-* Following registration which start­ ed at 2 p.m., the afternoon was spent in reminiscing until the supper hour at 6 p.m. ’A short business meeting followed at 7 p.m. when the 1955 slate of officers*,, was returned to- office for 1956, consisting of H. «D. Thompson, president; G. C. Greer, secretary, and W. F. .Howson, trea­ surer. Immediately following the business meeting the veterans paraded to the Cenotaph under R.S.M. Corrigan and led by the Brussels Pipe Band, The service at the Cenotaph was conduct­ ed by Rev. Meiklejohn, of Lucknow, and a wreath to commemorate fallen comrades was laid by R. S.
