Mr. Powers took office in 1948 as the second fieldman of the county organi­ sation, succeeding Ray Hergott, who held the office for seven months be­ fore becoming fieldman of the Ontario Federation, Jim Powers resigned to accept another position with Co-op Auto Insurance , as an adjuster and supervisor of sales promotion in Hu­ ron and Bru.oe Counties.
