Mtb. Harvey Timm was hostess to
the members of the Missionary Soc
iety, Wroxeter United Church, on Fri
day evening. The meeting was ar
ranged by Mrs. D. S. MacNaughton,
who presided.
“Faith” was the chosen theme and
the title of a topic given in which
the speaker said, “Faith is something
more than belief. It is the power and
glory of religion for it breathes the
breath of life into the frigid dogmas
of creed and form. The greatest form
of faith is that which is born of love.”

MIRACLE FOOT AID is a proven-in-use corrector for foot
ills and associated body ills. If your feet are tired, swell, feel
“draggy”, if your posture is causing you to slump; if you have
stiffness or pain anywhere in the body caused by a foot
condition, it would be wise, wouldn’t it, to do something about
it, before it worsens. Whether yours is a recent condition, or
a chronic one, you are invited to see Mir. Pickering. He will
show you what MIRACLE FOOT AID will do for you. Let
you actually experience this wonderful help for foot trouble.
Then you’ll want to go ahead with tHs most comfortable
method of correction. First consultation is free. Life can be
happier with properly functioning feet. Why not find out on
Thursday, July 21st.

Mrs. Herb Patterson reviewed the
highlights of The Missionary Month
ly. Members were interested to see
the picture of Miss Grace Patterson,
who was guest speaker at the spring
thankoffering meeting. Mrs. Gilbert
Howes described a recent holiday
spent in the North where she said
nature was at its best with lake,
woods* and the birds. The speaker
transported her listeners to a land of
enchantment which had inspired
Pauline Johnston to write poetry
such as “The Song My Paddle Sings.”
Mrs. J. H. Wylie read the Scripture
lesson and Mrs. Jim Sanderson led in
prayer. Plans were made to hold a
special ‘ meeting in October to which
other organizations and all women of
the church will be inyited, with a re
turned missionary to speak. Mrs.
Howes was named to make arrange
ments for the speaker. Members were
reminded that a bale will be packed
in the early fall for overseas. A letter
from headquarters stressed the need
for clothing.
