The regular meeting of the Evening Auxiliary of the Woman's Missionary Society of Knox United Church, was held on Tuesday evening, July 12, at the home of Mrs, George Johnston. , The president, Mrs. Harold Vincent, was in charge and opened with a hymn and prayer. The secretary, Mi's. Ross Robinson, and the treasurer, Mrs. Cameron Walsh, each gave their reports. The literature secretary, Mrs. Gordon Bosman gave a report. The groups decided to order the Blue Book. The group agreed to share the ex­ penses with the afternoon Auxiliary, for the delegates who are going to attend the leadership training school at Alma College in, August. The group led by Mrs. Clifford Logan was in charge of the worship service and opened with a hymn fol­ lowed by reading the Scripture re­ sponsively. Mrs. George Michie led in prayer. The study period about “Races in Trinidad’’ was held, with the following taking part: Mrs. Clif­ ford Logan, Mrs. Harold Vincent, Mrs. Gordon Bosman, Mrs. George Michie, and Mrs. Clifton Walsh. The meeting closed with a prayer' in unison, Mr. Thomas Smith was admitted^ to the Wingham General Hospital on Friday last with an injured left leg, where he had been kicked by a horse, earlier in the week, An X-ray was taken and it showed that the small bone in the leg below the knee was broken.
