Three classes competed at the morning ses sion, these being girl’s and boy’s solos, under 9 years, each with 29 entries and girl’s solo, eleven years under with 36 entries. During the afternoon the following competitions were held: Girl’s and boy’s solos, 14 and under, each with 25 entries; unison chorus with 22 and under; and an open class for double trio. The evening session held in the Wingham District High School, feat ured unison chorus enrolment over 22; rhythm band class and an open class for two part chorus. The auxiliary’s delegates, Mrs. Allan Walker and Mrs. Wilfred Caslick, gave ah outline of the recent well-attended convention. Plans were also made for the annual* choir supper to be held on April 28th, to which the auxiliary will cater. Mrs. Allan Walker distributed six unfin ished crib quilts to be made up before the next meeting in May, when they will be despatched to Korea. The devotional period was in charge of Mrs. Jack McKnight and the meeting opened with a hymn, followed by a prayer by Mrs. Wil liams. Mrs. Walter Douglas read the Scripture. The theme was "Mission aries and The Indian Church” and Mrs. Jack Lewis and Mrs. George Richardson read from the study book. The devotional period closed with a prayer by Mrs. Ross Gordon. Mrs. RCss Hilbert presided for the business portion of the meeting. The secretary, Mrs. Allister Green read the minutes of the previous meeting and roll call. Mrs. George Guest, the corresponding secretary, gave her re port and Mrs, Russell Zurbrigg pre sented the treasurer’s report showing a balance of $56.43. Mrs. Keith Mc Laughlin, chairman of the sick and Visiting committee, reported four visits for the month of Apiril, Following the Mizpah benediction, lunch Was served.
