Fd Regt RCA held train­ ing night at the armouries on a regi­ mental basis, on Monday night with batteries from Listowel, Walkerton’ and Wingham. The purpose was to hold a regimental competition layer’s test with cash prizes to the top three, and the Area Commander Brigadier T. G. Gibson, CBE, DSO, CD, was pre­ sent to inspect the troops in training. Guests with the Area Commander were Major Brown, GSO 2 from Lon­ don, Lt Col E. D. Bell and RSM A. Corrigan who •seemed very pleased with the turn out 0-0-0 competed in the H. D.
